Tip #1
When looking at your breasts, and specifically your nipples, what do you notice first - the width or length? This is helpful as you choose which of the 5 shapes best represents your nipples. Scroll through the options and familiarize yourself with the variations of width and height. Now consider where you naturally fall on the spectrum of nipple shape to choose an option that best matches you.
Tip #2
Do your nipples play “hide and seek”? If you feel as though your nipples rest deeper in your breasts or are shorter before you feed your baby, then stimulate them before choosing a shape for your Emulait bottle. To help it stand at its full shape, use the tips of your fingers to pluck or gently tug your nipple.
Tip #3
Your nipples may not be identical! This is totally normal. To know what shape to choose you can either choose one that blends the two giving baby an experience like both your nipples if you are dual feeding, choose one shape you think will work the best, or purchase an additional nipple pack for the second shape and change it up naturally.
Tip #4
Have you exclusively pumped for a previous baby? If so, you may want to consider the length of your nipple choice. Mothers who have exclusively pumped may have longer nipples than before they started pumping.
